Every time I get a ping from the custom wear ping, I check it out no matter what it is, because even if I’m not interested in that artist’s work, I do love to help people get their things accepted fast and easy, and if there’s something I can critique that will help it get there, I will.
New artists often don’t seem to grasp that no matter how much you want to cut corners, no matter how much you think it looks better with thin line art, no matter how much you don’t know how not to airbrush shade, you’re going to have to get used to it so that you don’t waste both your own and other peoples’ time having the staff tell you instead of myself. All I want to do is help, because I know how frustrating constant denials can be, and I’ll be damned if anyone ever tells me otherwise. It’s made me want to quit custom wearables quite often, but now that quite a handful of my recent items have been accepted without fuss, I think I’ve got enough experience with the system to give a helping hand to the artists around me. I don’t mean to sound like a bitch or a know-it-all when I do it, but sometimes I feel like that’s all people ever see.
saying this just because I’m a not-so-frequent buyer of your work. You are NOT a bitch or a know-it-all.
