It’s not out of the site’s goodwill that we get a game to play. If I was unhappy with being promised a pizza delivery within an hour and got it four hours later, would I be unreasonable? If my cable provider promised a consistent and reliable connection, but went down for thirty minutes every Friday at 10 pm, and that was the only time I wanted to watch TV, I shouldn’t inquire when the issue will be fixed? If I went to the salon and asked for my hair to be dyed red, but it came out orange, should I keep my complaint to myself?
No, no, and no.
It isn’t a matter of being grateful to Papa Johns for my pizza or to my stylist for my hair cut. It’s an issue of being in a business-customer relationship and getting the service I am promised at the quality I am promised.
